- A set of 5 (min.) to 20 (max.) colour/monochrome images in RGB jpeg format
- Each image compressed to meet following requirements:
- Minimum pixels on the longest side: 1,600
- Maximum file size: 2MB
- Theme title and description to be mandatory
- Photo title and caption for each image
- Rules and Regulations:
- Photographs can be shot in our outside Singapore
- Devices that can be used: Film/Digital camera

Sustainable Cities Award or Sustainable Communities Award
To enter the Sustainable Cities Award or Sustainable Communities Award, submit your Body of Work that answers to any one of the categories. You are also allowed to submit to both categories. Do explore the themes creatively in any photography genre. Your Body of Work should comprise not more than 20 images. Please read the full set of Rules and Regulations here before submitting your works online.

To show appreciation for the institutions that raise our next generation of photographers, the School Award is established for schools that actively engage students in their photography curriculum. The winning school with highest number of participation-based entries will receive vouchers for the SIPF – School Photography Education Workshop worth $1,000.
The School Award is open to both MOE and International schools in Singapore. This is only applicable for secondary and tertiary schools with students of 13 to 25 years old.
To enter the School Award, please submit information on the photography related activities held at your school such as talks, workshops, excursions, and the attendance for each of these events. Do submit the number of entries participating in SYPA from your school.
